Hi , My Name is Nancy Shoemaker. I am a REALTOR/Broker with COLDWELL BANKER UNITED, REALTORS at the Mooresville N.C. office . I am a life long resident of the Lake Norman area. I grew up in the Mooresvile and Troutman communites of Iredell County. My Husband’s and my families immigrated to this part of the country in the 1700s. Each of us have had land grants given to our ancestor by the King of England. We( my husband and I) are not as adventurous as our forebears were. We live in a great part of North Carolina and have been content to stay. My two Children have move only 50 miles away so we can visit easily.
I am an artist …. Love creating things. I have had the good fortune to have worked 26 years with a nationally known sculpture artist, Tom Clark ,of Davidson, N.C. I have a passion for watercolor painting. I like to do portraits of children, animals, old cars and various inanimate objects. I discovered watercolor about 10 years ago. I have always loved drawing and painting with other mediums but when I tried watercolor it was quiet a challenge! when I got the hang of I fell in love with it. I have shown my work in various art shows in the area and have even won a couple of awards.
Same thing with Real Estate! I started with another company three years ago. When I changed to working with COLDWELL BANKER UNITED,REALTORs I fell in love with it.
I studied pre-license and the Broker’s at Mitchell College. after earning my NC Real Estate and NC Broker’s license I joined the NC Realtor’s Association, Charlotte Regional Association,and the National Realtors Association. I am also a member of the Charlotte Multiple Listing Service.
I am so proud of being associated with COLDWELL BANKERUNITED ,REALTORS. I delight in meeting new people both local and from other areas. It is both exciting and rewarding helping families find a home thay can be excited about. I feel honored each time a family chooses me to help them with one of the most important decisions of their life…..buying or selling a home.
